How Invalley Ranks Websites

Posted by Kay Evers on June 13th, 2018

Every Invalley service is developed with a single goal; making sure that your websites are more prominently displayed in search engines. I am going to provide a brief overview of how we make sure that the site and specific keywords are going to rank much better over time. We realize that this is an important aspect for each campaign that you outsource to us.

What keywords are optimized?

Because we are conducting an entire marketing campaign, there are a few things we need to know first. To address this, we simply ask that you fill out a short form on your dashboard.

In a nutshell, this form is your chance to give us a little insight about your client such as specific keywords and URLs. Once we have that information, we analyze it using specialized tools such as Ahrefs.com and Moz's open site explorer. As long as everything is in order, you will hear from out account manager within 24 hours, notifying you that the campaign can proceed forward.

Is there a limit on the number of keywords and URLs that can be optimized?

With each campaign, we recommend providing at least three different keywords, as well as three different URLs. While we may decide to adjust these at some point during the campaign, your input will provide a good starting point.

What type of backlinks do you build and why?

We link to your site in a number of different ways. Data procured from a plethora of case studies suggest that brand anchors and naked URLs are most ideal as they consistently produce good results while maintaining a natural link profile. Rather than getting into the somewhat complex details, take a look at the examples below for further clarification:

Naked URLs:
invalley.com, http://www.invalley.com,
www.invalley.com, and http://invalley.com.

Universal anchors:
click here, visit this website and here.

Exact match anchors:
Outsource marketing and SEO Reseller.

Where are these backlinks posted?

While it may seem like a basic principle, the simple fact remains; we place backlinks where they make the most sense. So, as an example, take a look at the press release below:

For a video-type page, the most suitable location for backlinks would likely be in the description:

If we were looking at a blog article, ideally the backlink would appear at the end of the article:

On average, how long before I notice results?

The answer to that question can vary on a case-by-case basis. For instance, the strength of competitors, the quality of on-page optimization, and any previous off-page optimization efforts are all factors to consider. Regardless, we advise trying one of our packages for at least three months. It is during that timeframe that most customers see improved keyword rankings.

How fast are backlinks indexed?

In general, the majority of backlinks are indexed within a few days. The rapid indexing can be attributed to the fact that we only place backlinks on sites that are crawled by search engine spiders on a daily basis. Moreover, in order to keep a well-maintained and balanced link profile, we build both “no-follow,” as well as “do-follow” links.

Which package is going to yield the fastest improvement in ranking?

As with most questions though, the more information that is given, the more thorough an answer. Providing us with answers to questions like these would enable us to give a better answer:

- What website and keywords are you seeking to promote?
- What is the overall goal of your campaign?
- What optimization efforts have you made already?

By providing us with the answers to those questions, we can easily provide a recommendation on which package(s) will yield the best results.

As an example, let’s consider an online store. Based upon the package offerings, the Ecommerce + Social package would likely lead to positive results. However, for a law firm, the Local + Content package would be more ideal.

Can Invalley assist with on-page SEO?

We can and do give advice on what changes can be made to improve a particular site. Technically speaking, we refer to this as a Custom Technical SEO Audit. However, we do not actually make any adjustments on the site. Instead, our audit consists of three components:

1. Architectural Audit

During this process, we point out any potential problems with the overall structure of the site, as well as with meta tags, specific page content, 404 errors, and interlinking. We will also offer suggestions regarding the establishment of content silos and where to place in-content links.

2. Organic Traffic Audit

Here we identify particular pages and keywords that are already ranking well and suggest how to improve the optimization further.

3. Performance Audit

Similar to sports cars, a performance audit allows us to offer suggestions on how to optimize speed and performance.

As far as cost is concerned, the size and complexity of a particular site factor in heavily. For a personalized quote, feel free to contact us.

How does Invalley explain exactly what was done?

For each campaign, you will receive a report afterwards that gives a detailed explanation on what we did and how we did it. Everything in the report is delivered in a clean, precise manner that is easy to understand and jargon-free. Furthermore, the reports contain detailed information ranging from back links to login information created.
